WEDNESDAY: TEL AVIV/REHOVOT/ASHDOD/BEIT GUVRIN/ JERUSALEM
Breakfast. Tour starts at Beith Hatfutsot, Nahum Goldman Museum of the Jewish Diaspora. From there, we will go to Rehovot to visit the "Ama Ayalon Institute", where the weapons were manufactured for the War of Independence in the year 1948. Arrival at the Weizman Science Institute to visit the mausoleum of Dr. Haim. Via Iavne, site of the first Sanhedrin in the 2nd century (AD) and where Lula Gamliel is buried. Along the coast road you continue to Ashdod to visit the town and port. Following by Kyriat GAT towards Beit Guvrin, National Park with ancient caves. From there then to Jerusalem through the Jewish mountains. Accommodation in Jerusalem.
THURSDAY: JERUSALEM/ANCIENT CITY
Breakfast. Departure to the old town. Arrival at Mount Zion and visit to the tomb of King David. Entering the gate of Zion, tour of the Jewish quarter and arrival at the Wailing Wall. Via Dolorosa , we will visit the Church of the Sepulcher. We will walk through the typical e colorful bazaars that are close to the JAFO port. Continue to Mount Herzl, where the founders of the state of Israel are buried. Breakfast. Journey to Mount Scopus and the Mount of Olives. View of the magnificent city of Jerusalem and description of the most significant points. New City Tour: visit to the Sanctuary of the Book at the Museum de Israel, where the manuscripts of the Dead Sea and the model of the city of Jerusalem at the time_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ of Herod (second temple period). View of the new Parliament Building (Knesset), Menorah and the Hebrew University.
We continue by Yad Vashem, Memorial to the 6 million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. Free afternoon or visit to Belém, passing by Rachel's tomb. Accommodation in Jerusalem.
SATURDAY: FREE DAY OR OPTIONAL MASSADA/DEAD SEA
Breakfast. Free day or optional departure to the Dead Sea and ascent by cable car to Masada, the last fortification of the Jews in their fight against the Romans. Visit to the excavations, the Palace of Herodes and the synagogue. Panoramic view of the Roman countryside and the Dead Sea. Bath in the Dead Sea if a temperature allows. Return to Jerusalem. Accommodation at the hotel.
DOMINGO: VALE DO JORDÃO/ BEIT SHEAN/GOLAN
Breakfast. Departure from Jerusalem through the Jordan Valley, arriving at Beit Shean, one of the main cities of the Greek Decapolis. Visit to the theater and the reconstructed city. From there to Yardenit, the southern point of the meeting between the Jordan River and the Sea of Galilee. The journey continues towards the Golan Heights. View of the ruins of the Syrian city of Kuneitra. We will go up to Monte Bental to have a wonderful panoramic view. It is due to the Druze and Banian villages. Arrival at the Kibbutz Hotel. MONDAY: SAFED-/NAZARÉ/TIBERÍADES
Breakfast. Visit to the kibbutz and departure to Rosh Pina towards Safed, city of Kabbalah, with mystical alleys and esoteric aura. We will enter the ancient synagogues. We will continue on to Nazareth where Muslims live together with Christians and Jews. Visit to the Church of the Annunciation. From there to Cafarnaum, the ancient synagogue from the time of the second temple. Later we will visit Tabgha, to end the day visiting the city of Tiberias, one of the four holy cities of Judaism. Visit to the tomb of Maimonides. Accommodation in Tiberias.
TUESDAY: ROSH HANIKRÁ/AKKO/HAIFA/CESARÉIA/TEL AVIV
Breakfast. Departure to Rosh Hanikra. Descent by cable car to the impressive caves made by marine erosion. Short visit to the city walls of Akko, declared a universal heritage site by UNESCO. Arrival in the city of Haifa: view of the Bahai Temple and its imposing Persian gardens and o Technion (Israeli Institute of Technology). From Caesarea to visit the Roman theater. Then we will visit Tel Aviv via the coastal road. Brief visit to JAFA and Tel Aviv. Arrival at the hotel. Accommodation in Tel Aviv.
